Psychotherapy rooted in Neurodiversity.

Specialized Assessment and Psychotherapy for Adults with ADHD, Autism, Bipolar Disorder, and OCD.

Life is confusing sometimes. I can help.

Neurodivergent people possess unique and enriching perspectives that add depth and color to our world. However, the journey can be complex when your way of processing the world differs from the norm. Consider moments when you've felt misunderstood, labeled overly sensitive, or excessively passionate. Have there been times when your thoughts seem to race uncontrollably, making it hard to concentrate, or when a deep-seated need for order and predictability throws life off balance? If these experiences deeply resonate with you, you may be neurodivergent.

In a society primarily designed for neurotypical individuals, neurodivergent people often find themselves concealing their authentic selves to fit in. Masking can be a coping mechanism developed over time, where individuals adapt to societal expectations, but it can come at a significant cost. It often leads to inner conflict, a sense of disconnection from one's true identity, and overwhelming feelings of confusion. Moreover, this ongoing struggle to mask their neurodivergent traits may manifest in the form of mental health challenges, such as depression and anxiety, as well as strained relationships with others.

As a neurodivergent psychotherapist, I want to provide you with a secure and empathetic environment to address these challenges collaboratively. Together, we can work towards helping you to embrace your neurodiversity, ultimately enabling you to lead a more genuine and fulfilling life.

Counseling shouldn’t be confusing. Here’s how we’ll work together.

Step 1

During our first session, we will discuss your concerns and goals for therapy. Next, I will review all new client paperwork and confirm historical information that can help guide a treatment plan. Then, we collaborate on a plan and outline a therapy schedule that works for you.

Step 2

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process. I will start each session by asking if there are any questions from the previous session and if there are any pressing concerns to discuss. While there is always a plan in place, I understand life happens! We can adapt each session as needed.

Step 3

I check in with clients at the end of each session to ensure any questions are answered, review any goals identified for the upcoming week(s), and schedule the next session.
