Dane Hawkins, LCMHCA

Psychotherapist

SouthPark Psychotherapy

Hi, I’m Dane (she/her).

I live and work through a place of alignment, where intersectionality guides how, who, and why we are. It can be difficult to follow internal discernment while living in a system not inclusively built for diverse neurospecificities, assigned diagnoses, environmental/social circumstances, or unique seasons of life. Together we will navigate challenges, choices, and changes in a way that supports your strengths and celebrates your continued growth. .

What’s it like to work with me

We are co-creators. Mental health counseling is a collaborative process tailored to each person’s unique experiences, neurocognitive needs, and identity. I approach therapy from an empowered, person-centered relational perspective, striving to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and actively involved in your progress.

In our work together, we’ll use an integrative systems-theoretical framework that blends research-based psychodynamic insight, allowing evolution in the therapeutic plan in ways that honor your lived experience while cultivating the tools needed to navigate life with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity. We’ll also leverage somatic approaches to explore and release internalized beliefs and nervous system responses that may no longer serve you, while using solution-focused strategies to support personal growth and strengthen your sense of agency.
